The Hammer Falls? Giants AGM Fired?

Disagreement over the fight between Green and Lee the possible reason.

Playoffs 2088 (East Rutherford, NJ) - The shocking developments over the course of the season from the New York Giants camp this season has taken another shocking twist.

Sources from the Giants organization say that GM Joe Malloy has officially fired AGM Ryan Howard, over a disagreement stemming from the fight that Jay Lee and Evan Green had at the Rudy Guiliani Memorial Golf Tournament.

'You can hear the shouting outside the room.' one source said. 'Malloy took Lee's side and Howard took Green's side when the police report was sent to the Giants offices. Neither side would budge, and you can hear Malloy tell Howard to get out all the way down the hall. Howard stormed out of the room and out the door past me, and he was not in a good mood at all. I tried to find out what happened but nobody's talking.'

Another source said he saw Howard outside by his car, talking into his cell phone. 'He looked very animated, but he had calmed down. At one point he even smiled. There had been rumors all season that Baltimore was talking to Malloy about Howard's availability, so maybe Howard was on the phone with them. We'll have to hear his side of the story.'

If Howard was talking to Baltimore, and it's only speculation at this point that he was fired and will be the Baltimore GM, one would wonder if he would try to get Green, considering the fact that the Ravens have an emerging star at halfback in Calvin Jobson. Howard was a staunch supporter of Green, who had struggled in his debut season as a member of the Giants.

Malloy could not be reached for comment at this present time. Our source said he was in his office, and Malloy mentioned something about drawing up a new contract soon for Lee.
