Panthers enjoy results of 2096 season, look forward to 2097

Off-Season 2097 (Charlotte) - The Carolina Panthers were a surprise to many to reach the NFC Championship this season, but these cats have a lot of confidence in themselves.

'When I drafted Kevin Jones, I knew he was going to be our franchise quarterback for a lot of years to come,' Panthers GM 'Trader' Lee Remley commented. 'His first couple of years in the league has made me even more confident of that.'

Jones led the Panthers one game away from the biggest game in their franchise history this season, even thoughthey ended up getting trounced 44-3 by the vaunted Green Bay Packers.

'That was a leaning experience for me,' Jones said. 'If I ever am overconfident, I will look back on that game and get grounded again real quick.'

Now many think the Panthers will be even better this season despite a slew of retirements.

'Our GM is pretty good about getting the right guys in here,' start defensive end 'Friar' Tuck Ridgle said. 'I think we have a great group of guys here.'
