Could the Ravens ink USC standout prior to draft?

Off-Season 2097 (Baltimore) - SI.com has learned that USC defensive standout and Chuck Bednarik trophy winner Sawyer James is in Baltimore today with his agent Barry Rothstein. They plan to meet with Baltimore general manager Ryan Howard later in the day.

Howard, who has openly commented to the press that he feels Sawyer is the top overall talent in this year's entry draft, will likely try and lock in a deal with the much heralded lineman. This would give the Ravens, who are currently rebuilding after one of the more disasterous decades the franchise has seen, one of the best young defensive lines in football.
