Playoffs 2100 (Dallas, TX) - The USAFL SportsWriters Association announced it's 2100 Award winners earlier this evening, naming Philadelphia Eagles GM Andrew Lewis as the recipient of the James Maurer General Manager of the Year.

Lewis found out about the announcement while boarding his private plane after his Eagles lost to the Dallas Cowboys, 34-3.

'We were ambushed,' said a despondent Lewis after the loss. '(Chance) Dixon is the best running back I've seen in a long while. I think our guys were in awe of being on the same field as him. Too busy watching the game and missed plays left and right.'

'I am honored to receive my fourth Maurer award,' continued Lewis, 'but I have to say that they missed the call on not giving Dixon the MVP.'

'They were dead-on with the RoY. That Brown kid is the fifth wide receiver on that club, so just about anybody has a chance to make a play with that K-Gun offense.'

When ask if the SWA got the GMoY right, Lewis quipped, 'I'm just glad someone knew I was still around.'
