Patriots AGM Reported To Be At The Top Of The List

Playoffs 2101 (Washington DC) - Hours before the kickoff of Sundby Cup CXXXIII the rumors under the stands was that the Washington Redskins are close to announcing the hiring of their new General Manager. The Redskins are reportedly taking a serious look at the New England Patriots AGM Daniel Weimann.

Patriots' GM Jean Lefebvre credits Weimann with much of the team's success in the College Draft.

'Having another set of eyes out there looking over those college kids has been a huge help for us,' said Lefebvre in last spring's Draft Preview edition of Sports Illustrated.

'While it will be a great loss for us if Weimann decides to take a GM posting out there someday,' continued Lefebvre, 'I know that he will make a name for himself in the USAFL. He's one of the main reasons that the New England Patriots have been a championship contender year in and year out.'

The Redskins are also reportedly looking at the Dallas Cowboys AGM, Andy Bushby. But our sources say that Bushby is looking to stay in Dallas a few more years so that his kids can graduate from school there.

Word out of Washington is that they will most likely call a press conference for sometime late tomorrow afternoon.
