Kudos to Chris Taylor on his retirement

Panthers LB calls it quits after 12 years
By "Bucky Katz"

Off-Season 2105 (Charlotte) - The post mortem of the Carolina Panthers loss in the 2104 Sundby Cup was even sadder for the NFC champs as long time LB Chris Taylor announced his retirement.

Taylor was the Panthers first round pick and first pick overall in the 2092 draft and spent his entire career with the Panthers. He was an instrumental part of Carolina's 2104 Sundby Cup run as the middle linebacker in a great defensive squad.

The Panthers also announced that WRs Frank Spellman and Albert Rodenhauser called it quits as well. Spellman was the third WR in Carolina's passing game this season and Rodenhauser, acquired on waivers from Philadelphia before the season, brought both a winning attitude from a successful program and good ability to return kicks and punts to the team.

'We're going to miss all three of the guys,' Panthers GM 'Trader' Lee Remley commented on learning of the trio's plans. 'We hoped they could have gone out on top, but regardless, all these guys are winners and will be missed as we try to take that next step to win the whole shooting match next season.'
