Giants Plans For 2107 Go Up In Smoke

Unnamed source reveals what could have been the future for the franchise

Off-Season 2106 (Albany, NY) - An unnamed source within the organization revealed to the New York Post today that the New York Giants were going to make Bills quarterback Morgan Capper an incredible offer that would have made him the highest paid player in USAFL history.

The source asked us not to name him, but he is a high ranking official within the organization. He revealed to the Post today that Giants GM Joe Malloy had an offer ready for the 2107 Free Agency period for Capper in the amount of 'at least 44 million dollars a season'. Of course, now that Capper is rumored to be close to a deal that would make him the Buffalo Bills third franchise player after the Bills traded Coleman Sites, those plans are now up in smoke.

The Giants at the trade market scrambled to make a couple of trades, trading for two promising players in linebacker Kirk Giles and defensive back Jerrol Kloak.

Nobody else within the organization were able to comment to the Post at this time.
