Capper's Contract Creates Calamity Throughout the League

Buffalo Places the Franchise Tag on QB Morgan Capper
By "Alex Van Pelt III"

Off-Season 2106 (Orchard Park, NY) - The Buffalo Bills have designated QB Morgan Capper as FP5 guaranteeing him $12 million annually for the remainder of his career. What many hoped would be an exciting 2107 Free Agency period now loses what probably would have been its most sought after player.

When questioned, GM Mark Ricotta appeared down-right giddy about the signing. 'We toyed with the idea of letting Morgan test the water next season, but with the types of contracts that have been signed in the last few years, if we wanted to stay competitive, we needed to lock him up for the long term at our price. We're very excited and Morgan is, too. He's the face of this franchise. We couldn't let him go.'
