Vikings Hire New AGM

GM Lombardo says Muszynski is the guy; team will not miss a beat without Thul
By "Cole Winter"

Off-Season 2109 (Minneapolis, MN) - The search for a new assistant GM in Minnesota is now history as the team announced today the hiring of Jeff Muszynski. 'Jeff has a good background in sports management so we felt he was a good fit here even if it takes a few seasons to get used to the pace of the USAFL,' beamed Lombardo during a press conference to make the announcement. It's believed that Muszynski will be brought along slowly and will be given more responsibility as time goes on. When asked about former AGM Mark Thul and the large free agent offer to DL Aaron Jones this offseason by New England--Thul's new employer, Lombardo remarked, 'It did not surprise us that Aaron received an offer. I'm sure Mr. Thul felt like he could persuade Aaron to head east with him but that wasn't going to happen.' Minnesota matched the 5 year, $125mil contract offer made to Jones yesterday.
