New Ravens GM Cleaning House

Roster Overhaul Already Begun
By "Lance Fergeson"

Off-Season 2112 (Baltimore, MD) - When Mark Thul, the newly-installed Baltimore GM, said changes were going to be made, he wasn't kidding. In only his first week on the job, 18 Ravens have already been cut or traded.

'It's been a decade since the Ravens won it all, and the roster has deteriorated,' stated Thul. 'Whatever the reason, these players act like they're entitled to something. Winning the Sunby Cup was a great moment for this franchise, but the moment's over.'

In a six year span, Baltimore went from winning twelve games to winning only two. There was a slight bump in production after that, but last year's four win season had fans calling for roster reconstruction.

Thul was only too happy to oblige, with one exception. 'Two years ago, I met defensive back Mark Moxley at the scouting combine. While everyone is always struck by his amazing physical gifts, I was floored by his knowledge of the game and leadership potential. To inheiret him is a rebuilding GM's dream come true.'

It is rumored that Thul isn't finished dealing. Already he has stocked a bunch of mid-level picks for tomorrow's USAFL Draft.

'We'll take it a day at a time, a year at a time. We'll begin to add quality players and surround them by even more. It will take some time. We don't have the resources that other teams have, but we will soon.'
