One Strike and You're Out?!?

Off-Season 2116 (USAFL HQ) - The Chiefs are having a hard time building a team. It seems like their young guys are gettting hurt, or having physical problems, and now 3rd year man John Cast is done for life.

The USAFL has a very strict policy on drug use. And even though the drug test which resulted in Casts dismissal is VERY questionable, there are no appeal policies in place.

'I think this just goes to show that we HAVE to take a SERIOUS HARD look at this issue. We can't just have young guys being forced out of the league with no appeal process. The drug test procedure is questionable, it's just very frustrating,' Chiefs GM Harrison said in an interview.

'I am finding it hard to replace these guys. I have lost at least 4 starters over the past 5 seasons to different things, and if you know the inside story, most of them were forced out by league policy. I know I may take some heat from the league office for saying this publicly, but I have taken about as much as I can stand,' Harrison was also quoted as saying.

It's rumored that there might be some other GM's that feel similarly to Harrison, but want to see what happens from his outburst. The league has been very reluctant to come up with an appeal policy to get some of these guys reinstated, drawing a very hard stance on the subject.
