(Houston, TX) - In an atypical move, Baltimore and Houston decided that the AFC Championship game really didn't need to be played at all. They figured that since they played in Week 12, they could fool the league, insert a tape of the game, and just get on with it.
It appears league officials were indeed fooled as the resulting boxscore turned out identical to the first one.
When asked about his strategy, Ravens AGM Addam Brown argued, 'Well...why couldn't it be different this time?'
Rumor has it GM Mark Thul was being treated in a local hospital for a concussion when Brown agreed to the arrangement. More news as it becomes available.
