The Stars are aligned for the Patriots

Regular Season 2124 (Boston, MA) - There are few things people care more about than football in the north east. 'We like our beer, we like our chowda an we like our Pats,' said Michael McClannahan on the streets of Boston.

'We knew where our team was going and we're happy to be here.' That was GM Addam Brown earlier today. After coming over to the Patriots organization 6 yrs ago and taking the reigns of GM a few yrs after that, Addam has been putting together his kind of team.

'On offense I feel Rollins is ready to make an even bigger impact in the league in his 3rd yr. He lead the league is passer rating last yr and with another yr, and working with the same group of receivers, I think we'll see big things this yr. Our OL is as good as it's ever been and Brett Samuels and Darryl Redden rounding us out on O, I expect big things from our offense this yr,' said GM Brown. He went on to say, 'I also like our change to the 4-3. I know we traded Oliver but we got a talented vet and some added depth on the DL in Zellars and Jones along with a pretty good draft pick from MN. The 4-3 worked well for the LB's as well with Martin staying and still having the leadership of Smith, they are second to none. It also gave us a chance to move Fillers. He was a great contributor over the yrs but moving to the 4-3 might've meant limited playing time for him and he's a vet who deserves a shot at starting. I hated trading him to our rivals in Baltimore but they had the right offer and it's a good fit for him. Besides, we open against Baltimore. Maybe he'll let Redden in the endzone once or twice. You know...for old times sake.'

It looks to be a good yr for the Patriots. After bouncing back to reach the playoffs last yr, GM Brown has everyone asking in Boston, 'When do we get a crack at the Sundby?'
