Bain leaves town

Star QB and record setter moves to division rival
By "Frank Winters, III"

Off-Season 2125 (Green Bay, WI) - In a stunning move, the Green Bay Packers announced that they have traded their star QB to rival Minnesota in an effort to give him another shot at a title before his career winds down. When asked why they would be willing to trade such a stellar player, the Packers brass simply stated:

'We love Bain and all he's brought to this franchise (or its former identity) and so we gave him the chance to go with a team that is competing right now. Unfortunately when Washington stripped us bare the year after our Cup loss, we just weren't able to replace key players. Sadly, we'd rather see Bain win a Cup with someone else than watch him sadly walk off into retirement without a ring. That is the kind of loyalty we have to our sports heroes in Titletown'
