"Hardcore" No More!

Off-Season 2127 (Boston, MA) - In a stunning turn of events, there seems to be a buzz on the wire that Patriot's MVP quarterback, Jeff Rollins, may be on his way out.

'Hardcore Hank,' as he's called in the locker room, may have seen his last days in a Patriots uniform. Rumors have been flying that one of New England's key players may not be coming back after last season's Sundby Cup Championship and all signs point to Rollins.

'Well, he's had a taste of success and maybe he thinks he can take another team to the same heights. I don't know?' That was a comment coming from Patriots GM Addam Brown. 'We've been having discussions about his contract all season and his agent is, well, let's just say he's going to beat most lawyers to that hot place down south.' The rumors started trickling out of sources close to the team shortly after the Sundby Cup win. But when New England made the move to trade for Best, a lot of people started to speculate. Today, however, the writing is on the wall. Carolina trading veterans QB Griffin Hinnant and FB Andre Carpenter to New England all but seals the fate of Rollins moving to another team. Many fans were looking forward to many more years with Rollins at the helm. You'll be missed, Hardcore, no matter where you end up.
