Multiple GM Vacancies To Be Filled This Weekend

Miami, Dallas, and Washington hope to finalize their General Manager posts this weekend

Off-Season 2137 (Philadelphia) - With the news of longtime GM Mike Morton's retirement still reverberating around the country, fans of the USAFL are waiting to hear who will be the new GM of the Miami Dolphins. But now you can add two franchises to the mix - as AGMs have been handling GM duties for both the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins ... and they both are first in line to get the GM job in Miami, thus leaving a void in their respective towns.

Word out of Washington is that GM Dan Weimann will not be returning as GM of the Redskins - so AGM Ben Breeden has a decision to make - he can take the GM post in sunny Miami, or get promoted in Washington, D.C. and continue the work he began several seasons ago.

If Breeden decides to stay in Washington then the Dallas AGM, Fred Hurtubise is the next choice for Miami. No word yet on what Hurtubise's feelings are about the Dolphins' job.

If Fred passes on the Miami job, then the league will have to train up a brand new GM. Our sources say that Commissioner Lewis has contacted former Baltimore Ravens GM, Ryan Howard, and is trying to persuade him to return to the league. The Miami fans couldn't be in a better situation with three Sundby Cup winning GMs in line to be their next GM.

The USAFL hopes to complete this GM vacancy issue by the end of the weekend.
