Glenn to Remain in Raven Habitat

Youngster Signed Long Term

Off-Season 2137 (Baltimore, MD) - Glenn Flynn, the defensive lineman picked first overall in the 2134 draft, declared himself at home.

'Man, it was an improbable dream-come-true to land with the Ravens,' stated a joyful Flynn. 'Given a chance to make big money while staying here? Ultimate security? Lining up next to Vernon Slater? It was a no-brainer!'

The Ravens and Flynn agreed to a franchise contract guaranteeing him $8 million per year for the duration of his career.

'There's no question that Glenn Flynn is a Raven and will be henceforth,' stated GM Mark Thul. 'When you find a unique talent, you need to latch onto it and make it permanent.'

In his first full year as a starter, Flynn managed 36 tackles and 15 sacks. Those numbers are only expected to go up as he grows into his body.

'I can do better,' said Flynn flatly. 'My game still has a long way to go, and I expect to be vital to the Raven's continued success.'

That success, however, will be hard to continue, as the Ravens have gone 36-6 in the regular season since his arrival. He also has collected two Sundby Rings already.

'He might have been spoiled in his first few seasons in the league,' stated ESPN7's Rob Meyer. 'With the exception of Flynn, the Ravens are an aging team, and clubs like Buffalo, Miami, and New England are threats every year. They many very well need him to be Superman.'

Whatever the case, the Ravens now know they have a man of steel continuing to up for them for the next decade.
