Bengals coach Courtney McLemore goes off on team

Fans hope his coaching style wakes up players

Playoffs 2190 (Cincinnati) - Cincinnati Bengals first year coach Courtney McLemore went off on his team after a 10-7 loss to San Diego in the second round of the playoffs.

'No way we should lose to these jokers,' McLemore told the media at the post game press conference. 'Your defense holds a team to 10 points and your offense can't produce enough to win? Are you kidding me?'

When hired during the offseason, McLemore said that only a Sundby Cup was his goal for the perennial playoff team that has yet to get over the hump. Now he is apparently backing up his words judging from his post game rant.

'Heads will roll,' McLemore promised. 'No one is safe on this roster. We will look at schemes, we will look at personnel, we will look at the brand of drinks we give the guys during the game. We will look at everything and we WILL get better.'

Bengals fans like to hear this coming from their head coach after the laid back attitude of the previous regime.

Will McLemore do what his predecessor couldn't? Only time will tell.
