Long time Baltimore player traded to division rival

Off-Season 2200 (Cincinnati) - The Cincinnati Bengals announced today that they have acquired profilic Baltimore sack master Ron White in a multi-player trade that also netted them WR Darryll McDonald, bringing two long time rival players to the Queen City.

Both White and McDonald had played their whole career in Baltimore thus far, but found themselves being pushed aside by young talent in Ravens minicamp. Then there was also the front office connection.

Ravens AGM Dan Kimball came up through the ranks under the tutledge of Cincinnati GM 'Trader' Lee Remley, but is now getting greater authority in the same job in Baltimore while long time Baltimore GM Mark Thul is away on sabbatical in Timbuktu.

The two sides talked trade and a deal was quickly struck.

'We always did work well together,' Remley joked at the press conference announcing the deal.

The deal helps ensure the Sundby Cup Champions stay in contention even with the key retirements after last season's championship.

Even so, Remley implied he may not be done dealing yet.

'You never know,' Remley commented. 'Just remember my nickname.'

We remember.
