End of an Era

Trade with Pittsburgh ends Hadley era in CIncinnati
By "Who Dey"

Off-Season 2220 (Cincinnati) - For the first time in six seasons, there will be a new quarterback under center for the Cincinnati Bengals when the certain rises on the 2220 season.

With the trade of veteran QB Andre Hadley to Pittsburgh, an era ends in Cincinnati. Hadley's time with the Bengals was one of the best in franchise history, with a 60 percent completion percentage over six seasons as he passed for 20,493 yards with 129 TDs and only 46 interceptions, compiling a QB rating of 88.3.

Hadley had tears in his eyes as he packed up his locker.

'I'm leaving with a lot of good memories here,' Hadley said. 'We had some good seasons in the beginning. But I understand that things change and people move on. It's just my time.'

Hadley should help Pittsburgh the next few years with his passing skills, and they have a couple of familiar faces on defense in Daniel Washington and Curtis Harding.

'Those guys already told me there's a bounty on my head the first practice,' Hadley laughed.

Hadley won't miss Cincinnati completely, though. He'll still play them twice a season.
