Off-Season 2238 (Cincinnati) - The Bengals can finally say it, after all this time.

Back in the 20th century, the hometown Bengals lost twice in a decade to the San Francisco 49ers, a memory which lingered long after all the participants were gone.

But after 249 years, the Bengals redeemed themselves, beating the 49ers 21-16 in this year's Sundby Cup.

Cincinnati had a dream season, going 13-1 behind quarterback Kenny Smith and halfback Scott Gary, among others. But no one could stop them in the post season either.

But Bengals GM 'Trader' Lee Remley had another reason for his team's magical season when asked after the game.

'They didn't have Joe *censored* Montana this time,' Remley replied with a smile.
