Team earns first Sundby Cup in 18 years behind confident Rosenbach
By "Cole Winter"

Playoffs 2085 (Minneapolis, MN) - There was less than 6 minutes on the clock and Harley Barcia had just intercepted a Mike Waddle pass to stop a Buffalo drive. The Vikings were down by 3 and looking to tie up the game with a field goal. Everybody except QB Mike Rosenbach that is. 'He came into the huddle and said 'Forget the field goal, we're going down and getting 7.'', said HB Kimball Brown afterwards. What Rosenbach did after that confirmed what all the experts had been saying all season...he's matured. He calmly led the Vikings on a 10 play 64 yard drive capped by a 6 yard TD pass to TE Tom Davidson to give Minnesota a 4 point lead. There were some scary moments down the stretch, but the defense held and the Cup headed to Minnesota for the first time in almost two decades.

Rosenbach was named the league MVP for a season where he seemed to finally put it all together. 24 touchdowns, only 6 interceptions, a 67% completion percentage...and a title. All in his third season in the league. 'The sky is the limit for this kid,' chuckled former QB and current quarterbacks coach North George, 'He's already done more than I did in my whole career.'
