Um-bop! The Bengals can go for that

Cincinnati acquires QB, HB to improve offense
By "Porsche Lynn Commode"

Off-Season 2258 (Cincinnati) - The Cincinnati Bengals acquired QB Darren Hanson and HB Darryl Hall from the Green Bay Packers this morning in order to improve a slagging offense from last season.

The price was moving down four picks in Monday's draft and a future second round pick, but the Bengals front office felt it was worth it.

'These are two players that fit in well with our West Coast offense,' Bengals Director of Public Relations Seiko Ito read in a statement from GM 'Trader' Lee Remley. 'One of our goals was to improve the offense for the short term and we believe we accomplished that here.'

Left unsaid was the obvious opinion that the team felt there was no one at #2 overall that they felt they could not live without. Observers of the team are awaiting what pick the Bengals will make Monday night.
