Cincinnati makes big six win improvement and make the postseason tournament

Off-Season 2258 (Cincinnati) - 'The Bengals are terrible!'

That was the refrain broadcast across the galaxy by subspace radio sports talk host Stephen A. Smith XVI when the Bengals started the season 5-5.

Now he is silent because the Bengals finished 3-1 and made the playoffs, a big six win improvement over last year.

Some are giving credit to the Bengals GM 'Trader' Lee Remley for several trades to fill key holes. Others credit a young, talented team finally coming around.

Whatever the reason, the Bengals GM is proud of his team.

'We did well making the playoffs despite our flaws,' Remley commented.

What are those flaws?

'I'm not telling,' Remley replied with a knowing smile. 'You know me better than that even to ask.'

Are you glad you proved Stephen A. wrong?

'That guy makes my brain hurt every time he screams,' Remley said. 'Downloads straight into your brain are a bad idea sometimes. So you have to be happy when you shut him up.'

The Bengals go into the playoffs knowing they are in for tough competition to get to their next Sundby, but in the postseason, anything can happen.
