Off-Season 2279 (Baltimore, MD) - Five years ago, the Baltimore Ravens drafted three defensive linemen in the first round. Consequently, GM Mark Thul had a tough decision to make this off-season.

'Reggie, Sheldon, and Virgil are all good players in their own right, but we only have one available Franchise Tag,' explained Thul. 'We decided to give it to Sheldon due to his jump off the snap and extreme strength.'

When asked why the decision was so tough when the three players, as a whole, have only four career sacks, all by Reggie Richards, Thul said, 'Well, that's the market these days. This is the second camp where we drilled them on their acceleration, and Sheldon just showed greater potential to get after the quarterback than the other two.'

Still, after the Ravens switched to a 4-6 defense and traded DL Bill Porter this year, all three are going to be counted on to shine.
