The end of an era

Scott Dorn retires after 15 great seasons
By "Jordan Rulz"

Off-Season 2298 (Charlotte) - All time great Carolina Panthers QB Scott Dorn retired this morning, and the league, and especially this team, will never be the same.

Dorn set virtually all of Carolina's passing records outside of yards, where he came up just short. Still, Dorn had an incredible career.

The Panthers won a Sundby Cup under his watch, and lost two more which frustrated him for years, including in his rookie year. 'I thought we were supposed to be in the Sundby Cup every year,' Dorn had said after that first appearance his freshman year.

He never won a league MVP despite leading the league in passing every year, a fact which had pundits and Panthers fans alike shaking their head at the SWA.

So where does Dorn go from here? He talks about coaching, or maybe buying a franchise. Galactic sports networks are bidding for his services because of his likeable demeanor. They still come calling for him to do silly commercials.

Whatever he ends up doing, we know Scott Dorn will be successful. He still has the drive to succeed in whatever he does. That is one thing a champion never loses.
