One for the ages

Panthers win Sundby Cup at long last
By "Aki Kurikawa"

Off-Season 2320 (Miami) - The Carolina Panthers and their fans can party on South Beach tonight!

At long last, the Carolina Panthers defeated their nemesis, the Baltimore Ravens 16-10 in overtime to capture the franchise's 12th Sundby Cup victory, which their GM 'Trader' Lee Remley has already christened 'the Dirty Dozen'.

It was a game for the ages as the two teams were tied 10-10 after regulation time ran out. The defenses came up big even though Carolina HB Jay White got his 100+ yards as usual and the Ravens Hunley got 77 of his own. However, the two passers did not run, or rather throw wild by any means.

Overtime saw the Panthers defense come up big and force a Ravens punt. Then Walls took Carolina 57 yards in 2:59, when he found his favorite receiver Dean Raper with a 18 yard TD pass and folks on the Panthers sideline and fans watching in Charlotte went nuts.

The Panthers GM and GMOY winner for the third year running summed it up perfectly in the locker room post game.

'We finally beat the bleeping Ravens!'
