Off-Season 2330 (Charlotte) - The Carolina Panthers have declared that new acquisitions OL AJ Jackson and Brian Roper are their newest franchise players, earning them $10 million contracts for the rest of their careers.

'These two players in their prime are not just cornerstones of our new offensive line, but cornerstones of our franchise going forward,' Carolina GM 'Trader' Lee Remley said in a statement. 'That's why we acquired them to begin with.'

The players themselves were thrilled with the new pay raise.

'I would have liked to see if I got six bids like one of the Ravens guys, but I know I belong here already,' Jackson said.

'Who would be disappointed to get ten times what they were making before?' Roper said with a smile.
