(Cincinnati) - Cincinnati Bengals all-time sack leader is hanging up the spikes after 14 seasons.
Denny Nelms smashed the franchise record of 198 sacks held by the immortal Matt McDonald last season and added to his impressive total in his last season, finishing with a 223 total that may hold up for some time just like the man whose record he broke.
Bengals fans will miss his 'tiger dance' after his sacks as they saw it quite often.
His former team as a whole has issues to address.
Cincinnati had 10 retirements after the season although they talked TE Derek Powell out of it. Still, with their window slammed shut after a disappointing follow up season to their fourth Sundby Cup victory with this core group, it will be interesting to see if they can rebound next season.
