(Cincinnati) - Bengals defensive lineman Christian Norman announce his retirement after 13 seasons, effective after his last playoff appearance for the Bengals.
Norman finishes second on the Bengals all-time sack list with 209 after passing the immortal Matt McDonald earlier this season.
Taken first overall in the 2345 draft, Norman made his presence felt right away in the league alongside fellow line mate Denny Nelms, and it continued that way for his entire career on an impressive Cincinnati defensive line that ultimately resulted in four Sundby Cup victories.
Bengals fans will miss Norman's presence on the field and his teammates the same in the locker room.
