Overtime game one for the ages

Off-Season 2395 (Cincinnati) - The Cincinnati Bengals capped an exciting season with a thrilling overtime win in the Sundby Cup over the LA Chargers.

New kicker Darryll Williams drilled a 40-yard field goal to ice the win and give the franchise their 19th Sundby Cup win.

This was definitely a quarterback showcase though, as both passers went over 300 yards. The Bengals duo of Skylar Thomas and Alvin Jenkins teamed up for 11 passes, 139 yards and 2 touchdowns all by themselves, continuing their season long hookup.

Bengals GM 'Trader' Lee Remley was proud of his team finally breaking through this year and getting back to the big game, even before the win.

'These guys fought hard all season,' Remley said. 'I am proud of how they got off the mat after getting blasted by these guys in the first round last year and getting the win in the most important game of the year.'

Bengals fans celebrated in Fountain Square. A few drunk fans were arrested when they got into the fountain and started causing mischief by splashing other celebrating fans. But everyone was justified in celebrating the big win as it was quite a dry spell.

Now the question will be can these guys repeat? Only time will tell.
