From Green to Blue

Top pick openly challenges team administration

Regular Season 2088 (New York) - The honeymoon is over and Evan Green is not happy.

Following a horribly display against Green Bay, and looking down on next week's game against Detroit, Evan Green is blaming everyone from the offensive line to first year coach Freeman Williams.

'Fourteen carries for five negative total yards? Fourteen carries for five.. negative.. total.. yards,' Green said to reporters, shaking his head after the game. 'You've got to be out of your mind if you're gonna put that on me. The line makes no holes and I get far too few carries.'

Green was, of course, discussing a dismal showing by New York against the Pakcers this week in which the team as a total only mustered 38 total rushing yards, with Green contributing a negative number.

'As a junior at [North] Carolina State, I ran all over the place with a less than stellar line. You really think this mess is my fault,' Green questioned before turning away from reporters.

Giants head coach Freeman Williams could not be reached for comment.
