Lee: Stop Whining

Jay Lee believes Evan Green should blame himself
By "John Jones"

Playoffs 2088 (East Rutherford, NJ) - As the Giants players filed out of the locker room one last time following their week 14 victory over the Minnesota Vikings, offensive lineman Jay Lee looked over and shook his head as he evaluated the 2088 season.

'Not good. We took a step back this year.'

Lee looked up and watched rookie halfback Evan Green walk out the door, then he turned toward our reporter.

'If he took the time to practice and train instead of rollin' in every week lookin' like Fort Knox, we'd be doin' better and he'd have the ball more.'

Lee and Green have been taking jabs at each other in the media ever since the game against Green Bay where Green rushed for -5 yards on 14 carries. After the game Green put the blame on everyone else except for him for that performance.

'It wasn't right, man. He threw everyone under the bus when it was all on his shoulders. Ya know, I was thinking that maybe it was a fluke. Green Bay always is stocked on their defensive line. The Washington game, however..'

Lee pointed out that Green only had 6 carries for -2 yards against the Redskins, who finished the year 11th in rush defense.

'Hey, we weren't the ones being booed and havin' to hear 'QUITTER' and 'COWARD' that game. We weren't the ones with our replica jerseys litterin' the field following the game. He's been rubbin' the fans and us the wrong way ever since he got here. He rolls in, spendin' all of his bonus money on a gold plated hummer and so much bling on him, always on the phone with his agent, and he goes out and stinks it up. He has no heart. He'd rather look like a pretty boy instead of gettin' down an' dirty with the rest of us. If he's gonna be playin' here in New York, the toughest place in the world to play, he just needs to shut up, suck it up, and quit the whining.'

After that, Lee stood up and walked out the door to his rental car.

Currently, we were unable to get comments from Green about Lee's latest comments to the media.
