Off-Season 2104 (Nice, France) - From his bi-annual off-season vacation estate in Nice, France which is along the French Riviera, USA Football League Founder/Commissioner Andrew Lewis made it known through one of his aides that he named Chicago Bears GM John Zabroski and Houston Texans GM Patrick Sicher the recipients of the 2104 Garritt Grandberg USA Sports Spirit Award.

Zabroski and Sicher chaired the Simulation Modeling Analysis Response Team in the much talked about investigation into irregularities in the statistics distributed from the 2104 Scouting Combine. Their highly anticipated report was published yesterday and it called for the creation of a Football Attribute Replication Tracking System to ensure the integrity of the Scouting Combine process in the future.

The 2104 Grandberg is the fourth time the award was given to multiple recipients. All eighteen General Managers shared the 2042 award. Ed Pamer (former Cleveland Browns GM) and Mike Manuel (former Washington Redskins GM) shared the 2027 award. In 2021 all twenty owners of the Duracell Grand National division of the USA Racing League shared the Grandberg award, then just known as the USA Sports Spirit Award.
