Dolphins think they are ready to rumble

Off-Season 2079 (MIAMI) - The Miami Dolphins training camp is a buzz with speculation that this team may finally be ready to make a playoff run after so many down seasons. The first season with assistant GM 'Trader' Lee Remley in charge of personnel matters saw a two game inmprovement in the team's record from 2-12 to 4-9-1, and in fact the team was within a whisker of .500 with a 4-5-1 mark after 10 games in 2078.

With GM Mike Morton down on South Beach and unavailable for comment, we interviewed the assistant GM who helped start the franchise's turnaround.

'We've tried to cut some dead weight and improve areas of the roster which needed improvement,' assistant GM Remley said. 'We've had to sacrifice some draft picks to get some talent in here right away, but we think it will be worth it.'

Rumor has it that even the elderly Shaq purchased a season ticket package this year to watch the Dolphins.

'We could use that old man at tight end with those bionic parts,' Remley joked when told of the rumor.
