Fans Want GM of the Year Fired

Zabroski Out Of Favor After Dealing Schad
By "Otis Tackleberry"

Off-Season 2107 (Chicago, IL.) - Message boards on the Internet were lit ablaze by the shocking announcement the Chicago Bears had dealt the team's most popular player and Team MVP of the past five seasons. E-mails flooded into the Chicago Sun's as well. The common theme was Bears fans irate that GM Z-Bo Zabroski traded the face of the franchise for a wide receiver. 'A wide receiver! Are you kidding me? How's he supposed to catch the ball when we have Noodle Arm [Chris Peguese] at Quarterback?', said message board user SingletaryEyesOnThePrize.

James Schad was certainly the face of the Bears franchise, and was on pace to shatter Cris Bischoff's league record for fumble recoveries by a defensive player (21). Schad currently has 15 fumble recoveries in 7 seasons. It took Bischoff 13 years to amass 21. For other fans, they were not as angry as they were emotionally upset. Some fans were reminded of Harris Hayes when watching James Schad play.

Whether it is anger or sadness, Bears fans want GM Z-Bo Zabroski fired. This may be a make or break season for the Bears GM. So far, he is 25-87, and only 20-22 the past three seasons.
