Scandal Rocks Ravens Front Office

AGM Brown's Reputation Blackened
By "Cita Gain"

Off-Season 2118 (Baltimore, MD) - Days after the Houston Texans claimed the Sundby Cup, a theory implicating Baltimore Raven's AGM Addam Brown as the chief architect behind the now infamous 'Replay Game' have been circulating.

The theory goes as follows. Early on day game, GM Mark Thul was hospitalized with a concussion. Allegedly Brown struck Thul on the head with Thul's second Grandberg Spirit Award. Fortunately, the award was not injured.

After incapacitating Thul, Brown put his plan into motion. Coaches and players for both teams were informed of an impending threat on the AFC Championship game; consequently, they were to remain home and quiet. It was further explained that a copy of the Week 12 Game would be broadcast to help catch the perpetrator.

The league's official scorer, located in an interior room at Houston Stadium, didn't pick up on the replay...just as Brown had hoped. Almost immediately after scores were reported to the AP, questions began to arise; however, due to the league's 'never go back in time' policy, the results had to stand. Brown had won.

'I never imagined my good friend betraying me like this. He obviously had no plans to return, as he stole all of the Raven's scouting files before he left,' said a disgruntled Thul. 'It's clear that his term with the Ravens is over.'

While there is no physical evidence to implicate Brown of this crime, critics and fans of his actions are popping up all around.

'Hey, the USAFL is a business,' said Donald Trump, 'and everything is fair in business.'

No word yet on how deeply the league will investigate this matter. Brown has been rumored to have other employment offers within the USAFL. Brown was unavailable for comment.

USAFL officials have now moved the official scorer up to the press box to avoid future repeats. Further, the league awarded Baltimore a second round compensatory pick for the incident, which Thul gratefully accepted.
