Philly Hails Returning GM

Founding GM returns from long leave of absence

Off-Season 2121 (Philadelphia, PA) - The Philadelphia Eagles will have a familiar look in 2021 - founding General Manager Andrew Lewis has returned to running the day to day operations in the Eagles' front office.

'I look forward to working with all our new talent,' said a rejuvenated Lewis at his mid-afternoon press briefing.

'I am also eternally grateful to our league's front office. They extended every courtesy to our franchise during this difficult time.'

Lewis was asked if he thought the game had passed him by, considering how many new GMs have entered the game in the last decade. He gracefully avoided the questions and spent most of the press conference praising the league's commissioners for how they handled the various issues that have occurred in his absence.

Although he refused to take questions on the matter, it is widely known that Lewis will not be returning to his duties as USAFL League Commissioner at this time. He's taking his return very cautiously, focusing on his franchise first, then after a time, moving onto league's front office duties.
