Bain takes two firsts

Chicago QB gets MVP and first round victory
By "Dan Patrick III"

Playoffs 2121 (Chicago, IL) - Second year starting QB Eric Bain has stepped up since he was named starter following Tony Rueter's successful career, but no one thought Bain could find this level of success this quickly.

The league announced Bain was named MVP of the regular season just after Bain led the Bears to their first victory in the playoffs since the last time they appeared in the Cup championship. Chicago management voiced their approval of the young leader stating: 'We think Eric is going to take us farther each year and we are confident this is a sign of things to come. With his own talent and the skill players we've worked to surround him with, this should only be the first of many MVPs and playoff victories'

But a tough task lies ahead for the confident Bain and his Bears. The Packers and their top defense, a wall the Bears have not been able to hurdle in the last few years is the next obstacle to Bain's first championship. It certainly will be a tough task, but the MVP is certainly eager to meet the challenge.
