League Approves Browns Relocation

Cincinnati returns the USAFL after nearly a century

Regular Season 2080 (Philadelphia) - Ninety-six seasons ago. That's almost a century. That's how long ago it was that GM Ryan Silvis won his only USAFL Championship for his beloved Cincinnati Bengals. James Barr petitioned the league that he would like to see that fair city get another chance to sit atop the USAFL world as the champions again.

With unanimous approval, the League informed the Cleveland Browns that upon concluding business in this, the 2080 season, they will be allowed to relocate 240 miles to the south in Cincinnati, Ohio, becoming the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals will play in a brand new stadium alongside the Ohio River.

The relocation will not necessitate any divisional re-alignment. The Bengals will play in the AFC Eastern division.
