Green Bay has long-term Pride

By "Max McGee IV"

Off-Season 2142 (Green Bay, WI) - Green Bay announced, at a well-attended press conference, that they have agreed to terms with Phil Pridemore to keep him in green and gold for the rest of his career. With the large former number one pick standing next to the podium with proud smile on his face, the general manager made the announcement:

'When we took Phil, we were sure we were selecting an anchor for our line for years to come. We got even more than that - a true franchise offensive lineman who can play all three positions. He's smart, disciplined, strong, quick, and agile, not to mention a great team leader. With Jenkins next to him and solid players like Alexander building our line, we are going to be pushing around opposing defenses for many years to come. I know it has been a long time coming for Packer fans, but Phil Pridemore is going to restore your pride in this franchise.'

No small amount of pressure for this young offensive lineman. But with his size and skill, he may be large enough for the task at hand.
