Giants castoff, QB Joel Miles, has earned a spot on the 2153 Philadelphia Eagles final roster

Pre-Season 2153 (Philadelphia) - After leading the league last season with a QB rating of 90.0, 12yr New York Giants quarterback Joel Miles was handed his pink-slip. 'In these tough economic times,' said an unnamed Giants front office insider, 'tough decisions have to be made. Miles is the past. We are looking to the future.' Miles' future is now with the Giants divisional rival Philadelphia Eagles.

'We're over the moon with this one,' exclaimed 5yr Eagles RB Corey Hill.

The Eagles look to hand the offensive reins over the veteran QB, pending his work-ethic at the ongoing training camp for the upcoming 2153 regular season.

'Miles represents strong post-season experience,' noted Eagles AGM Jason Hink, who is rumored to be interviewing for both the Washington Redskins GM vacancy and the upcoming Miami Dolphins GM post.

'Christiansen has been nothing short of rock-solid for us in recent years,' continued Hink, 'and heck, he took us to the 2152 Sundby Cup. But Miles brings many more intangibles to the table. And he gives our offense a boost in morale and respect.'

The Eagles 2153 offensive scheme will now feature two 1,000+yd rushers from last season and the league's top QB from last season.
