Hink Collects A Grandberg

New Redskins GM Awarded The USA Sports Spirit Award - Becomes Second AGM To Hold The Honor
By "Mike Manuello"

Playoffs 2154 (Washington, D.C.) - While soaring 35,000 feet over the nation's capital, USAFL Commissioner and Founder Andrew Lewis held a world-wide 3D SensaRound tele-conference with media outlets from around the country, announcing the awarding of the 2154 Garritt Grandberg USA Sports Spirit Award.

'It is with great pride and unparalleled jocundity that we honor the Dallas Cowboys' Assistant General Manager, Jason Hink, with the redoubtable Grandberg award,' exclaimed Lewis, whilst fidgeting for his personal collection of assorted almonds. 'Mr. Hink has shown paradigmatic grace during his tenure as the Philadelphia Eagles' AGM as well as the Cowboys' AGM. It is clear now why the Redskins are so eager to get him to sign on the dotted line.'

Hink becomes the second AGM, in the 185+ seasons of the USAFL, to ever win the Spirit Award. Current Baltimore Ravens' GM, Mark Thul, was the first AGM to win the Grandberg (he won while serving as the Minnesota Vikings' AGM back in 2108).

Hink will reportedly collect his Grandberg on his way to Washington D.C. later this week, as reports around the league are that he will accept the Redskins' General Manager post - a job that has been vacant for more than a decade. Former 'Skins GM Ben Breeden surprised the league with his retirement back in 2142, just after he won his fourth Sundby Cup in five seasons.
