Off-Season 2161 (Cincinnati) - The 2160 season just got a bit sweeter for outspoken Cincinnati Bengals QB Courtney McLemore as he was named the league's MVP by the USAFL SWA.

'They just wanted to see someone as pretty as me on ESPN 365 again,' McLemore joked, referring to the congolmerate's latest holographic channel beaming signals to Andromeda.

Besides leading the league in passing efficiency this season, McLemore led his team back to the playoffs for the first time in several seasons. Many are expecting an even bigger season for him in 2161 as he comes more into his prime.

'With all seriousness, I am thankful that the SWA chose me as the league's Most Valuable Player,' McLemore said in his acceptance speech. 'Not bad for a guy who was drafted as an afterthought.'

McLemore is referring to the 2154 draft, where he was drafted as the 14th pick of the third round, after the team had picked Joe Brady in round one. Drafted to be a backup to the Ohio State standout with all the attention, the USC star eventually won the job and Brady found himself in New Orleans, where he too has a thriving USAFL career.

The circumstances of his coming into the league has served as motivation for McLemore to succeed. Now he has reached the pinnacle as an individual. But he is not satisfied.

'I won't rest until we get a Sundby,' McLemore says.

He smiles that winning smile that has advertisers falling all over him for endorsements.

'Actually, I won't rest until we get several.'
