White Waived Without Warning

Buffalo Kicker Cut After Dismal Playoff Performance
By "Nick Mike-Meyer VI"

Playoffs 2081 (Buffalo, NY) - Buffalo Bills kicker Chris White was cut immediately following the Bills 35-32 1st Round Playoff loss to the New England Patriots. GM Mark Ricotta openly admitted earlier in the season that he overlooked White's poor development in the off-season and mistakenly kept him on the 53 man roster. 'I was more concerned with developing the defensive side of the ball. I didn't pay attention to my Special Teams Coach's input. Now I'm not taking anything away from a fine New England team. Anytime you face Jean, you know it's going to be a battle. His teams are always prepared. But I have zero tolerance for that type of performance in the playoffs. The man was paid to perform and he fell short. In my mind he let down his teamates, the great fans in Buffalo and, most importantly, himself. But I'm sure there's a youth soccer program looking for a developmental coach. Good luck to him.'

While the roster cut period hasn't officially begun, Ricotta has asked White to clear out his locker and leave the facility for good. While on his way out, White was asked his thoughts on what happened. 'Go ask QB Waddle - he should have a good answer. Maybe he should use some of that FP3 contract money he received to get hand transplants.' It should be an interesting off-season in Buffalo.
