Allen Tired Of Bears' Direction

All-Pro RB Retires After Back-to-Back 8-6 Seasons
By "Tom Wrigley"

Playoffs 2081 (Chicago, IL) - 7-time 1000-yard rusher Shane Allen has decided to forego his Franchise Player contract and retire after watching his replacement (HB John Hinton) struggle mightily during another 8-6 season and early exit in the playoffs.

'I have tried to set an example with these young backs, but they're just not getting it. I feel like I've failed,' says Allen. 'They don't seem to have the heart.'

The Bears are searching for a replacement. GM Brad Houska was available for comment: 'We will find the right guy for the 2082 season. Whether it be through a trade, free agency, or waivers. We will find the right guy.'
