Off-Season 2182 (Cincinnati) - The Cincinnati Bengals announced two franchise tags today as offensive linemen Lorenzo Young and Bernie Stone were both designated as the team's 2nd and 3rd franchise players. Young will be guaranteed $8 million per year the rest of his career, and Stone will be a $12 million dollar man from now on.

'Our scouts hit the jackpot on both these guys,' Bengals GM 'Trader' Lee Remley said at the news conference announcing the moves. 'We are so glad that along with Cliff Lucas, they will be the keystones of our team for years to come.

This is the first time the Bengals have had the full complement of franchise players for quite some time. Bengals fans are hoping that is a sign of good things to come.

'Our goal is to keep the young talent rolling in,' Remley said. 'You can't let up for a second in this division.'
