(Davie, FL) - Miami GM Mike Piper announced this morning that linebacker Kurt Hutchinson has been signed to the FP3 franchise tag, guaranteeing him $8 million per year for the rest of his career. Hutchinson is the third Dolphin defensive player to be franchised in the last three years, following DE Tommie Nichols in 2186 and Paul Raines in 2187.
