Bengals gearing up for another run

Cincinnati trying for one last hurrah with the current group of veterans

Off-Season 2193 (Cincinnati) - The Cincinnati Bengals have added a few key players this offseason as they make one last push for a Sundby Cup with their current squad.

After their 11-3 season and first round playoff loss last season, the organization had two choices: whether to try to get better or rebuild. Bengals GM 'Trader' Lee Remley chose the former after being lobbied by head coach Courtney McLemore for key additions to the roster.

The Bengals picked up new starters in wide receiver Gerald Johnson and center Pete Tyler from Philadelphia. Both are at the top of their game and expected to be a force at their respective positions. They also opened up the pocketbook and signed former Baltimore defensive lineman Cornell Kinser through free agency to play nose tackle in their 3-4 defense.

Many fans are excited with the new additions given that their team had a great regular season last year. But there is also trepidation that the window may be closing on this current team.

Could this be the last hurrah for these Bengals? Only time will tell.
