All names of franchise great quarterbacks here. Can Pat Romes join them?

That was the kind of rarefied air that Bengals GM 'Trader' Lee Remley was talking post-draft where he took 15 rookie players to build his revamped squad.

'We think Pat will be one of the greats,' Remley said. 'Romes, not Sicher,' he added with a grin.

Cincinnati needs that kind of leader for their new team going forward. While Remley feels his team got a good young squad on paper, he knows that the quarterback is paramount from previous dynasties he has built.

Romes couldn't believe the company his new boss was talking when introducing him to the media. 'This is just surrel,' Romes said. 'I hope I can have half the career those guys had.'

Bengals fans are hoping so too.
